Best Polymarket traders to copy — October 2026

The public Polymarket leaderboard ranks wallets by profit, but the top of any single window is full of one-off wins and speed-based bots a copier can’t keep up with. This list keeps only traders who are profitable over both the last 30 days and the last 7 days, trade actively, and earn enough per dollar traded for the edge to survive copying costs.

Consistent winners: profitable this month and this week

Ranked by 30-day P&L. The last column is profit per dollar traded: higher means each trade carries a wider edge, which is what survives a copier’s delay and fees.

Top traders to copy by category

Most profitable Polymarket traders specialise. Copying a specialist in markets you understand is easier to judge than copying an all-rounder.

Sports

Pre-game lines hold long enough for a copier to follow; avoid in-play scalpers.

Politics

Slow-moving markets with long hold times, the most forgiving category for copy latency.

Skip 5- and 15-minute up/down traders; their edge is speed you cannot copy.

How we pick traders worth copying

  • Two windows, not one. A trader must be in profit over 30 days and over 7 days. One lucky resolution can top a monthly board; staying green week to week is harder to fake.
  • Real volume. Wallets with under $10K of trading volume in the month are excluded. Their P&L mostly comes from older positions, merges or redemptions, which a copier can’t follow.
  • Edge per trade. A trader must earn at least 3¢ per dollar traded over the month. Copying costs roughly that much in slippage and fees, so market makers and scalpers earning fractions of a cent are left out.
  • Public, on-chain data. Everything here comes from Polymarket’s public leaderboard and is refreshed hourly. Nobody pays to be listed.

Before you copy anyone

  • Open the profile and read the last 50 trades. Are the markets liquid, and does the trader hold positions for hours or days rather than seconds?
  • Start with a small size multiplier (0.1x–0.25x) and a max position per market.
  • Run the copy in paper-trading mode for a week to measure your real fill prices.
  • Copy two or three traders in different categories instead of one star.

FAQ

Who are the best Polymarket traders to copy right now?

The table on this page lists traders who are profitable over both the last 30 days and the last 7 days on Polymarket’s public leaderboard, with reported trading volume. It refreshes every hour. Consistency across both windows matters more than the size of one month’s profit.

Why not just copy the #1 trader on the Polymarket leaderboard?

The top of a single-period leaderboard is dominated by one-off wins and by market makers or high-frequency bots whose edge comes from speed. A copier enters after them at a worse price, so that edge doesn’t transfer. Look for traders with steady profit, reasonable volume and a high profit per dollar traded.

What does “P&L per $1 traded” mean?

Monthly profit divided by monthly volume. A trader making 10¢ per dollar traded has a wide edge per trade, which survives a copier’s slippage and fees. A trader making 0.3¢ per dollar is usually a market maker or scalper, and copying them tends to lose money after costs.

How do I copy one of these traders?

Open the trader’s profile, click Copy, and set your size multiplier, max position and slippage. PolyZig then mirrors their trades into your self-custody wallet. You can run the copy in paper-trading mode first to see how it would have performed.

Is copying a profitable trader guaranteed to make money?

No. You copy their decisions, not their returns: you enter after them, you pay fees, and past performance does not predict future results. Start small, cap your exposure, and review results weekly.

Copy any of these traders automatically

PolyZig mirrors their trades into your self-custody wallet with your own size and risk limits. It works worldwide, including countries where polymarket.com is geoblocked. The free tier costs 0.50% per copied trade.
